I JUST TOUCH

The good thing about TOUCH is it makes you feel good, comfortable, easy, loved, and makes you calm despite of the heavy loads in emotions. In just a touch it makes everything good. I have read in the bible the passage that tells me the wonderful thing about touch.

Mark 5: 27 - 28 "When she heard about Jesus , she came up behind Him in the crowed and touch His cloak. 28 because she thought, "If I JUST TOUCH his clothes, I will be healed.""

This means that touch is not about something that makes you better, good, calm and etc. but also it makes the person HEALED and RELEASED.

HEALED. The woman in the bible whose bleeding for 12 years is in the stage of desperation. Desperate to get healed, desperate to spend all money for her to get healed, desperate to go out though people are considering her one of the most unclean person because of her state. But this desperation turned her to healing, in JUST a TOUCH of Jesus clothes.

RELEASED. after TOUCHING the clothes, everything is well, she got healed and released from her condition of bleeding for 12 years.

I pray that our sorrow will lead us to desperation to touch Jesus through prayer and His word.

In JUST a TOUCH!

May your dreams come true. :D

Are you on hurry?

It's been so long that I stopped blogging. Hmmpp.. My works as an IT makes me busy since my previous supervisor resigned, but I thank God for that time because I found myself depending on Him. Anyway, this is not  my topic. hehehehe...lets go to the main topic.

Why most people now a days are on hurry?, I have ask some people and friends to answer this, and their answers.
1. Meeting the deadlines.
2. Malalate na sa school or office. (arriving late at school or office)
3. nagmamadali lang talaga. (always on hurry)
4. Want to prove something.
5. Winning the praise of people.
6. etc. (etsetera)

If you gonna think of those answer, you can probably relate to them, why? because most of us are on hurry.
A friend of mine told me that there was a group of religious people came to one city to plant a churches, ministries and foundations. And those churches grows vast in just a year. WOW!!, in response to what he told me.

As he continues, he came to the story that really broke me. He said, one of the leader talks to the crowd and said, "Planting churches, ministries and foundations are like a speed boats for us, why? because We planned and meet deadlines, but God talk to me one day. He said, "you are always on hurry, you ask for a help from me but still your plans prevails." and it shook my head and it wakes me up from a long long dreamsss...ZZzzzZZzz..." and now I told myself just to be like a sail boat that is always depending on the wind(will of the Lord) all the time.

Hope that you learn from this story and post.

May your dreams come true. God bless.

Taming Tongue

Everyone loves to talk and talk and talk and talk.

When I was still in school (high school and college) I really love to talk, I talk with different issues, topics, or even non sense things like jokes. And while talking in front of my classmates and friends they just listened and laughed.

I remember one hot afternoon while having a report in the class, everyone didn't listened (of course except for my teacher), at that time everyone is so busy preparing for there reports and busy of course in TALKING, yeah right!! they don't care about your reports but what they care is to tame the reporters(my) tongue. All they want is to talk and talk and talk. (I'll go deeper with this later, just read.)

James 3:5-6 " Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell."

ever heard this tag line??

"Great things comes from the small beginning"

Yes, your right, it comes from Milo. But what struck me from this tag line was small things will result in big one, as what James 3:5 "the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts".

Every big things comes from small things.
Every big problems comes from small one.
Every big issues comes from small talks.

Remember my story above? my classmates in the class just want a small talks that result for almost half(this is big) of the class failure in the exams. That terrible!!Half for small talks.

Other thing. Gossip. I know that you know Gossip right? it may be part somehow of our daily life routine.

but,

can we just put it away in our life?but, how?

Heres some HOW how to put it away.

1. Pause. when you pause. then go to number 2

2. Think. think of the possible results for the gossip. (though gossip will not result in good, so don't think!!hahaha), then after, go to number 3.

3. Pray. instead telling it to someone, why just don't tell it to God through prayer. Your'e not just helping the person but you are blessing him/her.

So, when you heard something little about someone that may result to big one better to TAME the TONGUE.

May you find peace in every obstacle in your life.

Why we couldn't drive it out?

This was the question of the 12 disciples thrown to Jesus after they have tried to drive out the demons inside the body of a boy. lets take a look at the verse

Matt. 17:16 "I brought him to your disciples, but they couldn't heal him.", what a shame. But why does the disciple of Christ couldn't drive it out?

Matt. 17:20-21 "If you have a faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there and it will move', Nothing will be impossible to you."

2 things I have learned from this passage.

First, you don' need to have a very powerful aura to drive demons or to do the impossible things. You don't have to be superman to do it. In doing it, it just require of one thing. FAITH.

Secondly, faith is requirement to do the impossible. Doesn't matter if you have a small faith or large faith but as long as you have it, then you probably do it.

But where should our faith came from? Romans 10:17 "comes from hearing and hearing the message through the word of Christ.", this speak about our devotional and obedience to Christ.

Why we couldn't drive it out?because of no faith.

Whats your brand?

"The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it" (1 Thess 5:24).

Coca-Cola is the number one "brand" in the world. Companies spend millions of dollars making their brands known in business. They want you to recognize their brand. When you think of their brand they hope you will have positive thoughts in hopes it will influence your next purchasing decision.
Every individual has a personal "brand" whether you want it or not. Cultures have a brand. Ethnic groups have a brand. Your brand is defined by your conduct. If you are always late, you'll soon develop a brand or reputation for being late. Others will even show up late because they know you will be late. If you are a person who exaggerates the truth, others will soon fail to take you serious.
However, the opposite can also be true. Your brand can be incredibly positive. By being a man or woman of your word, who is consistent in dealing fairly and honestly with others, your brand becomes known as someone who is faithful in all aspects of life.
One of God's most important characteristics is His faithfulness. Faithfulness means one is true to fulfilling their promises to others in the time which was committed. God is faithful to fulfill all His promises to His children.
Moses was also an example of faithfulness to his call. "Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future. But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house" (Heb 3:5-6).
What is your brand among your peers? Is it a positive brand or does it need improvement? Allowing the Lord to make us more like Jesus is the only way our brand becomes trustworthy.
Ask the Lord today to make you a faithful brand in which others can trust.

A Desperate Woman

Ever been in a concert before? Ever seen or heard a man courting a woman? Ever seen or heard in a news a mother who stole something in a store? They are just desperate to do it.

Why such people become so desperate? In a concert, people become so desperate in doing smashing, head banging and shouting because they want to be in in that cycle of life. In a man who court a woman become so desperate because man wants to win the girl, while on the other hand, a mother stole something in the store become so desperate because of the needs of her family.

But there was a woman in the bible who became so desperate to the point of losing everything that she has.

Luke 7:44-46 "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet."

But why she became so desperate?

One thing that is for sure why she became so desperate, and that is she knew who was the man whose feet shes been kissing for and wiped with her hair and poured perfume on it and a head that she putted an oil. She knew that He is Jesus the son of God.

I know Jesus and I believe you know Him also but the question was, How desperate we are for Him?

Blind Obedience

What if someone will tell you to do good to those who mistreat you? will you be willing to do so?

It is a bit challenge for people to do good to others who mistreat them because everyone has this, "PRIDE". Theres one point in my life that someone do wrong to me and in return, I do wrong to him also, because it is my nature to really seek revenge at that time. But the mere fact is, we both wrong and I've done a wrong thing.

Luke 6:27-28 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who mistreat you"

It's really unfair right? How can I do it if they are treating me like that? It is totally not fair. But I have just realize the first line of the verse "But I tell you who hear me(Jesus)".

and it doing it, it requires a blind obedience. Blind in not considering our PRIDE. It's just a obedience no matter what.
